As golf is a game where normally there is no referee or umpire, members are placed on their honour to "play the game", as it not only concerns an opponent, but in competition, it concerns the whole field. Therefore players must honour and observe the Rules of Golf & the Rules of the Club at all times. All players are to carry the Rules of Golf booklet. |
Common sense and courtesy are all important. Limit your practice swings, don't dawdle between shots and don't take unnecessary time on the greens. If you lose your place in the field let others through. A maximum of four (4) players per group on match days, unless directed by official of the day. |

In the case of weather conditions affecting the play of any club event, the Committee will endeavour to have this announced at the earliest stage over the Newstalk ZB cancellation service. The Club Professional will be advised and members when in doubt should enquire there. The Course Superintendent is not to be phoned.
